The material can usually be downloaded (EN 9.2.1.1 <em>Keyboard and 9.4.1.2 Name, Role, and Value)<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In some places, the contrast between text and background may be insufficient (EN 9.1.4.3 <em>Contrast).<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>User guide<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Keyboard navigation<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In the Meediaradar application, navigation can only be done using the keyboard. Navigation is done using the TAB key. Each press moves the focus to the next element. The active element is indicated by a box around it. To activate a focused link, press the Enter key.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first link that becomes active when navigating is hidden from regular users and intended for keyboard navigators. It is \u201cSkip to content\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSkip to content\u201d bypasses the header and menu and jumps to the main content of the page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Content Enlargement<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><em>Web browsers<\/em><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>We recommend first using the built-in zoom function of the web browser.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In all popular web browsers, you can zoom in or out by holding the Ctrl key (Cmd key on OS X) and pressing the + or \u2013 key. Another option is to hold the Ctrl key and scroll the mouse wheel. To return to normal size, press Ctrl and 0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Meediaradar web application supports built-in text and color adaptation tools of web browsers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><em>Standalone programs<\/em><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>All common operating systems include content enlargement settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Windows 10, open the Windows menu and press the plus (+) key as many times as you want to enlarge the content. To reduce, press the Windows logo and minus (-) key.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Apple computers, navigate: Apple menu &gt; System Preferences &gt; Accessibility (or Universal Access) &gt; Zoom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><em>Browser extensions<\/em><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>There are zoom extensions available for browsers that enhance existing functionality. For example, for Firefox, <a href=\"https:\/\/addons.mozilla.org\/en-US\/firefox\/addon\/zoom-page-we\/\">\u201cZoom Page\u201d<\/a>, which allows zooming the entire page or only the text; for Chrome, <a href=\"https:\/\/chrome.google.com\/webstore\/detail\/auto-zoom\/dcicehbfkfjclggmmgpknoolmfagepph\">AutoZoom<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Using a Screen Reader<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A screen reader is a program that interprets what is displayed on the computer screen and conveys it in other forms, such as sounds or audio commentary. It is an assistive tool for the visually impaired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The content on this website is created according to standards understandable to screen readers.
