This talk with the audience will focus on the rapid changes in today\u2019s information environment, the impact of artificial intelligence technologies on the media, the spread of disinformation, and the role of media literacy in everyday life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We will discuss how algorithms and neural networks are changing the way news is created and consumed, the dangers posed by fake news, deepfakes, and information manipulation, and how to recognize propaganda and verify information sources. Special attention will also be given to the impact of information warfare on European society, security, and democratic processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Andrei Titov<\/strong> is a journalist and television and radio host working for ETV+ and Raadio 4. He has more than 25 years of professional experience. In the past, he served as editor-in-chief of the weekly MK-Estonia<\/strong> and the news portal mke.ee<\/strong>, and also taught at Tallinn University.
