At the meeting, we will explore how economic journalism works – from news and analysis to investigative journalism. We will discuss how the media help to uncover investment scams and other forms of fraud, and what tools economic journalists use today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our speaker is Olesya Lagashina<\/strong>, Editor-in-Chief of “Delovye Vedomosti<\/em>” and a journalist with more than 20 years of experience in the media industry. Olesya began her career at Delfi and later worked for the weekly “Den za Dnyom<\/em>” and Postimees, where she worked as a journalist, served as Editor-in-Chief of “Postimees in Russian<\/em>” and “Den za Dnyom<\/em>“, and headed the Russian-language editorial team, including its news portals. For several years, she hosted television programme “Na Ostriye<\/em>“, co-hosted the ETV+ programme “Svoya Pravda<\/em>“, and hosted a radio programme on foreign affairs on Raadio 4.
