From sophisticated financial scams designed to drain our bank accounts to coordinated information wars engineered to manipulate our worldviews, deception is now an industrialized, global enterprise. We are no longer just passive consumers of information\u2014we are active targets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But you don’t need a badge or a security clearance to fight back. In today’s workshop, we are flipping the script. You are going to step into the shoes of a digital investigator using Open Source Intelligence, or OSINT. Instead of just talking about fake news and fraud, you will be actively hunting it down. By the end of this session, you will have hands-on experience using the exact tools that cybersecurity analysts and investigative journalists use to verify photos, expose sketchy websites, and trace the origins of viral claims.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The rule for today is simple: stop trusting, and start verifying. Let’s get to work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
